Yes, we heard the comments on the sound quality, the visual quality and the special extra's the tops the lot with a crisp finish. But what I believe DVD has truely done for the film industry is to introduce the 'NEW' generation to film which the may have heard of but may have not seen.
Raging Bull for example, probably scorsese and De Niro's best work (Well, more or less in par with TAXI DRIVER). I have heard of this film before but has never seen it but thanks to the special box set, I am happy to say that I have experience one of the best films ever. And speaking of Taxi driver, again another great experience thanks to DVD.
The DVD has promoted these classics into the lifes of the younger generation, allowing us to recognise and view some of the masterpiece which was not as easy to get hold of or pratically unheard of.
Has another any other views on the DVD.
Before I end I would just like to pay himage to the Digital Versatile Disc. DVD, WE SALUTE YOU!
