A short story. Tell me what you think of it.

Falling, ever falling. Down, down, down Geoffrey fell, seeing windows on the skyscraper whiz by as he thundered down. Not long now, he thought, until I am nothing but a mess on the pavement. He expected to see his life flash before his eyes. It didn’t. Instead, he just saw the interview in his bosses office, that had happened a few minutes ago.

“Ah, come in Geoffrey. And how are you?” his Boss had said, in that deep voice of his.
“Couldn’t be better sir. May I ask what this is about?” He replied.
“Come out onto the balcony and we’ll discuss it. I want you to see something.”
They would walk out onto the balcony, and Geoffrey would peer down over the ledge. It was a very small ledge, only up to his knees. It would be easy to fall over. They were on the 82nd floor, and the ground was a long way away.
“Geoffrey. I will be blunt. It’s about your wife.” Boss man would say.
“My wife? Why? What’s wrong with her? Is she hurt?” Geoffrey would enquire quickly. Geoffrey loved his wife. That love wasn’t shared.
“She doesn’t like you Geoffrey. She prefers me. She said so. The only way she can be happy is if you are out of the picture. Then she’ll be happy, and so will I. I hate to do this Geoffrey, but it will be interesting to see how I feel, after killing someone for the very first time.”
Geoffrey was going to reply, when the Boss gave him a shove. Geoffrey looked up, and saw the boss was ten metres away, and that distance was rapidly increasing. He was falling, and quickly.

Geoffrey came out of this thought, and saw he was close to the ground. The air by his ears was whistling horribly, and his eardrums felt like they were going to burst. He was very close to the ground now, and his tie was fluttering rapidly in the wind. Now he was metres from the ground, and his last thought was one of revenge.
Geoffrey hit the pavement with a sickening thud. His earthly life was over. His unearthly life was about to begin.

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Impressive control panel
I have to say that I'm impressed with the features available having logged on... Loads of info - excellent.
