Still Ottakars but triple the size... but... it sucks. I couldn't find anything I wanted for holiday reading.

I ended up buying 'Jennifer Government'... remember that Online Nations thing? I remember seeing it there, looks interesting.

I'll just read my dad's stuff

We have a Waterstones, its quite big, but i find it hard to find a book you are looking for unless it is a bestseller.

Is a TFT screen the same as an LCD one (more or less)?

When it arrives I'll tell you :)

I only ordered it on Monday night, order has been confirmed by Dell and it's gone into manufacture, I chose one with custom options for nearly all the components - not any of the preset ones you can buy - hence you have to wait whilst it's assembled. I've been told 7 working days maximum for delivery. I'm really interested to see what one of these LCD Flat panels is like, plus the last game I bought for the PC, apart from Rise Of Nations, was Rogue Spear Urban Ops so I can't wait to play things like Half Life 2, Vice City, the new Tomb Raider, Black Hawk Down, Raven Shield etc.

I just buy from Amazon, generally cheaper, more selection, no hassle from employees and you can take as long as you want without numerous security people thinking you're plotting the next great robbery. And no having to go into the city, fighting through traffic for a car park space, avoiding numerous beggars, big issue sellers, charity people and researchers.

Be careful going in there with your new handbag - they might want to check for nicked books.

We have an Ottakars or a W H Smith to chose from here. Fortunately I work in Leeds where there are several good, large, bookshops to spend an hour or two browsing in.

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Just a quick note to say thanks for a very good service ... in fact excellent service..
I am very happy with your customer service and speed and quality of my broadband connection .. keep up the good work . and a good new year to all of you at freeola.
