Woah baby, don't be shocked. I'm just commenting on the experience people, well, experienced when they wat ched the films of the 60's 70's and even 80's. It seemed that nowadays, films lack the orignality of screenplay.

It's now either film depictions of books, games of sequels /prequels.

No, I'm not desmissing that todday's films are rubbish. I'm just saying that, although fun to watch, the experience of true masterpieces are rare. Watching todays films just brings back the memories of watching old films which by itself, should be kept to it's original score. An example of this would be M:I 2.The bond films, even films such as Predator. Personally I think the old bond films were best.

Last summer's 'Scary Movie' sums up my point most clearly. Spoofing a film, which, already spoofed itself with its self repetitiveness.

I'm not saying that todays movies are rubbish, not by far, it's just that todays films do not have the freshness to be a true masterpiece. Ang Lee's Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was a sigh of relief. The film was amazing. But when I left the multiplex, the was actually debates on how the film was 'too' different. I would have to agree with you at a certain point of your sttement saying that todays films are not the same as they used to be, but only to a certain extent. You would be correct in saying that todays films possibly lack originality.

This however is mainly because film producers nowadays are willing to experiment to see what the public want. Therefore want to give this to make them enjoy themselves when they viist the cinemas.

However coming to the fact of M:I 2 and recent bond films being less exciting thatn they used to be.i would agree with you fully. I mean the films just really lack originality. I dont no about you but when i go watch films such as M:I 2 and Bond Movies, i can almost predict what is going to happen next as it is made so obvious.

This is my view so feel free to give a difference of opinion.
