Every time i press the number 3 on my keyboard it loads up the program compatability wizard! Really annoying!

I mean what kind/brand

Have you set up a hotkey for it? Or has somebody else just to make a fool of you, not sure how you get to the compatibility thing, but it might say if there are any hotkeys set up around the prefs for compatibility.
This is obviously on XP then...

Its a standard keyboard compaq, no hot keys on it either,the problem only came today all of a sudden.

Don't press 3.

Easy!

Use the other 3 if that one causes you grief.

i.e. If you use the numbers along the top, use the numeric keypad instead and vice versa.

yeh but some games dont have the same function as the numpad numbers
