I bought one of these around Christmas and it has started to play up. It will read ok when I enter it in the machine and load up, but when I try to save it says no memory card is present. To solve this I have to remove the memory card and then replace it.

Anyone else get this problem? If so how did you sort it?

Wow Datel have got better then? I went through 3 8mb cards for the n64 in the space of 2 weeks! I vowed never to get another card from Datel..

The unofficial 4mb ones I got died too. I learnt my lesson: buy official, it's more expensive but the memory is of higher quality.

Let them know there and they should advise you on what to do to get it working.

I get the same problem.

The reason it does that is because the card overheats, touch the "circle" thing, and underneath the card, should feel quite warm/hot.

Pop it in the freezer for a few mins if it refuses to accept the card after a few trys.

Mine messed up my RL file once.

And since then its been fine.

Only once in a whole year. Impressive for a 3rd party card.....
