Thank you for writing to MSN Messenger!
I understand that you're messenger freezes during sign in.
With regards to your issue, here is my suggestion:
Can you try removing the following key from their RegKey by following these
steps:
Log out and then Exit out of MSN Messenger:
1) Go to “Start”
2) Choose “Run”
3) Type in “RegEdit”, then hit “OK”
4) Choose “HKEY_CURRENT_USER”
5) Choose “Software”
6) Choose “Microsoft”
7) Choose “MSNMessenger” folder.
8) Select “ListCache” folder,
9) Then right click on “ListCache” folder, then choose “Delete” option
10) Then close the Registry Editor window
Above steps should look like this:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ Microsoft\MSNMessenger\ListCache
This should delete your MSN Messenger folder. Reinstall the software from either
http://messenger.msn.com or http://www.msnmessenger-download.com/preview site.
If the problem persist, please reply to this mail with the steps you've made.
