I'm glad I asked, as I was having trouble seeing what had changed! :¬P

Will take your suggestion on board though and pass it along to those people cleverer than me in such things to see what we can come up with.
I use the Freeola script a lot :¬)
Any chance you can summarise what script changes you've just made?!
I was hoping you were going to introduce some improvements so that the actual email address doesn't have to me coded in the 'form' - perhaps using options in MyFreeola to contain the address?
This would help to stop email addresses being harvested...

Hi gilli
Do you mean when using a contact form? Generally, posting your email address on a website is a bad idea because 'spam bots' will find this address and start sending email to it.
Also, if you own a website you are likely to be hit with spam. It's a huge worldwide problem unfortunately. If you have an address at a website that can be found easily then it's likely to receive spam.
The way around this is to not have an obvious address such as
info@example.com or contact@example.com.If you use a contact form and you are certain that spam is coming from that form then you are in luck! There are many free scripts that you can use to prevent this, using what you explained - known as CAPTCHA.
Hopefully these websites will be of use to you -

If you are getting spam from another means, then you will need to implement a more complicated spam filtration system on your mail server...
Hope that helps!
If you are able to use PHP a good Captcha script can be found here.
