I'm thinking of buying one, I have quite a few movie files I would like to watch on a normal TV, I see there are quite a few progs on download.com to convert mpegs and avi's to vcd format - any reommendations of particularly good ones ?

Another question, say I convert a 700mb mpeg file to VCD, does it take up the same 700mb space or is the compression better or worse ?
