I think I know the answer but here goes...

Is there a way for me/you (support) to streamline my email account numbers.

There are a few numeric gaps and I would like to get them sequentially unbroken, if you see what I mean.

This is correct.

So for example I have 002,003,005,007,013 etc...

It would have been nice to reallocate them 002,003,004 etc.

This is probably the answer you were expecting but anyway:
unfortunately this is not possible as the usernames are assigned automatically in sequence. I'm guessing the missing usernames for you email accounts are ones that were created and then deleted.
