This is another question that will blow gamers mind once they have completed a game that liked very much. Escpecially rpg fans out there. Currently these days games are looking good and have a great storyline, but should those games be brought back to life? Or should they stay dead and know as a has-been?

It seems more gamers want the Sequel and not the prequel due to them wanting to know whats going to happen next. I guess gamers want the future of gaming with the next abilities, stronger characters, and a new storyline all rolled up in your original game and more. Today, gamers want titles like Xenogears 2 back in the race for gaming. Could these sequels possibly make the game better than the future of gaming for the xbox and gamecube?

Some gamers want to know how it all started with the Prequel. The prequels are kinda rare, but they can be said to have some players questioned answered about how it all got started or where that character came from. I'm not gonna lie i like some prequels myself like Panzar Dragoon Zwei which was on the sega saturn which is currently dead, but gaming will turn tides on this suject. Sequel or Prequel?

P.S. Feel free to post games you think should have some sequels or prequels.

Does time travel count as a preqel?

How about Tomb Raider Cronicles....(sorry)

Or the Action Indy's Last Crusade game?

... Do the Star Wars Episode 1 games count? :)

The Zelda series. The first one released wasn't sequentially the first.

In fact I believe the order runs (excluding Links Awakening as a dream, it could go anywhere after meeting Zelda)

Ocarina of Time N64
Majora's Mask N64
A Link to the Past SNES
Legend of Zelda NES
Legend of Zelda2 Adventures of Link NES

I think you know you've played a good game if you would really like a sequel to it.

Good RPG's should encompass past present and future in one story, a bit like Final Fantasy 7 managed to do, where you had Cloud Strife starting with no memory, and as the story developed the 'flashbacks' filled in the history and led you to the future, all were entwined beautifully, so no prequel or sequel to that particular FF episode would ever be required.

Metal Gear Solid on the PSX also built it's prequels onto the history files that you could access before you actually played the game, so you were filled in, kind of like 'the story so far' technique used in sequels of books.

Prequels are around, I just can't think of any at the moment, but I know they are about....
