Though I'm having quite a bit of difficulty choosing the right ISP. Theres a number of sites providing price comparisons, which is all good...
I'm just a little unsure as to which ISP's provide decent connections, and which I should avoid like the plague?
Wherever I go, there are always plenty of complaints about the larger ISP's, BT, Freeserve, AOL, Tiscali... (and plenty of complaints about the smaller ISP's too!)
But is it just the unsatisfied few who are complaining, whilst the majority are silently happy with their ISP? - I know a number of people with BT at home, all of whom have great connections with no problems at all?
Since the people here seem to know their stuff, I was wondering if anyone could give me a little help?

A couple of people have mentioned Pipex, tjhey seem tohave a decent package... with free activation, and 17.99 for the modem/filters/etc.. they seemed to have a great offer...

Ive been using asdlguide as my primary reference point, unfortunatly, most ISP's seem to have changed their offers at the start of the month (and until September), and they have yet to upgrade :(

Freeola have the best package if you have a big website, best.package.ever.
Pipex are cheap.
I don't have a clue really...
