Time for some more help.

I have absolutely no idea about either of the above. Nonetheless, I was going to get some sort of system to allow staffies on my site to upload info about new games / films etc, along with links and images, through an entry page, and it would make a nice new page with all the data for that game.

However, they suddenly forgot how to do it.

Anybody ever made and used one similar to what I urgently need, or think they can muster up something? I know nothing on the language yet, and the 'For Dummies' book won't be coming for a few weeks.

Links and buttons to all sites and folk that help me (not much I know, but it's all .. I have .. to give .. *continues hummimg song*)

Anyway, so, erm, help?

*waves hand*

Sounds like you basically need a content management system. Before you re-invent the wheel by writing one, have a look at some of the scripting sites, look through the facilities they offer and see if you can find a close match. phpNuke is probably over-complex (but its very popular and therefore well supported. phpwebsite is simpler.

Yeah, phpNuke seems like too much, I just need it for a database of games and the like, not for all the news etc.

Thanks :)
