many people have said that now that dreamcast has sold itself to other bigshot game companies to produce games for them that the actual dreamcast is dead.many console magazines have been saying that it is the end...this is simply not true so u ps2 lovers have most definately not had the last lough.

the dreamcast is more alive than ever and i read that another 100 games are set to be released this year for it.not to mention the fact that sega will still produce games for it. its just that they will be producing for other consoles such as ps2.

also i dont think it will be such a bad idea to see the likes of mario and sonic on the same console ( gamecube). but i do find it rather pathetic that the ps2 has to "skank" some of the best dc titles onto their console because they should try bringing ou some of their own decent games for a change !!!

I agree, but i still like the dc and its games like phantasy star online. The dreamcast will probably be like the sega saturn once the xbox and gamecube come out

Stop arguing guys The Dreamcast is a great but unappreciated machine, and the PS2 has yet to show its potential.
Dreamcast owners should just be happy that they can pick up games alot cheaper than their PS2 counterparts, and PS2 owners should be happy that Sega will produce great games for their machine.

Sega have only stopped production of the Dreamcast, right?

Because the last I heard they were still selling Sega Master Systems (now on the 3rd style makeover) to Brazilians.

No doubt the Megadrive is also alive and thriving in some country somewhere on this planet!

I think that Sega are bringing some of their 'best' titles to the PS2 because they, unlike you, realise that the PS2 is a very powerful and very popular console. Sony are not 'skanking' anyone elses games - Sega have decided to bring their games to the pS2 - not the other way 'round.
My guess is that you're just sour because the DC's day's are numbered and you feel that it's Sony's fault.....
