Because unless you can center the backgrounf image and stop it from pasting itself then i will... will that code make that happen?

That would work, but as you said you want one as a background and teh rest on top, I'd just set the background one to z-index: 0; and the rest to z-index: 1;

But, why do you think setting the image as an actual background won't work??

Well i only need two layers because i have one background image which i don't think i can set as a background image without it ******** up, and then i have 7 other images i want to be on top.

But i'll try with this code and see if it works.

Yes, using CSS, you can set the 'z-index' which is the order objects are placed on the z axis (infront or behind other objects).

The code is 'z-index: number;'

For example:






The higher the number, the further forward the object is placed.
