Singles Match:
John Cena (AfroJoe) w/Batista (Figo) vs The Jackal (RM18) w/ Mick Foley
'The Hardcore Revolutions music hits!' And making their way down to the ring, John Cena and his leader Baaatisttta!!! They are greeted by a chorus of boo's, no wonder, these two along with Billy Gunn have been heavily involved with the ever mysterious Jackal and Mick Foley for weeks now. At Free-Fall, Batista is set to face The Jackal with his Hardcore Belt on the line. The duo enters the ring and Batista flexes his muscles, looking to help his partner out whenever he can.
"Piano music plays" And the challenger, The Jaaaackal and Mick Foley!!! A tremendous roar emerges from the crowd. Everyone here at SRW is on the side of Jackal and Foley as they make their way down to the ring looking supremely confident. Batista and Cena exit the ring as Foley and Jackal enters it. They keep eyes locked before making their way to the top and posing. Batista and Cena discuss about something briefly before Cena re-enters the ring and awaits the bell…
But it seems the bell isn't needed as Cena starts laying into Jackal straightaway! The Jackal falls down momentarily before fighting his way up and whipping Cena into the ropes, and a shoulder block from to Cena who scrambles out of the ring to the crowd's disapproval!
"Come on!" The Jackal shouting at Cena to enter the ring, who cowardly backs behind his leader who is talking to the ref. WHAM! Foley takes Batista and Cena down with a double clothesline! He drags Cena and throws him into the ring. Go Foley! The camera turns back to the ring where Jackal starts laying into Cena. He waits for him to make his way up before tossing him by the throat into the corner where he gives huge right and left blows to the head of Cena! He staggers out and Jackal hits a huge backdrop suplex!
Cena is in trouble and Batista senses it as he pulls on The Jackal's leg! The crowd are booing whilst the Ref is unaware whilst treating Cena who appears to be in considerable pain! And here's Foley… SMACK! BATISTA SENSES HIM COMING AND SENDS MICK FLYING INTO THE RING STEPS! YEOWCH! BOOM! And Cena with a release German suplex on Jackal! He wasn't in any pain at all! Cena is quick to act on his previous manoeuvre and locks on a Half Boston crab. The Jackal tries to shut out the pain by closing his eyes, it's certainly a lot of pressure to put on the lower back region. The Jackal struggles towards the ropes, and looks to make it until Batista pulls the ropes further away, allowing Cena to drag The Jackal back to the centre of the ring! Foley gives chase on the outside and follows Batista somewhere backstage.
Back in the ring, and Jackal is slowly making his way again to the ropes… Got it! Cena breaks the hold and hits right hands to the back of Jackal, not allowing him to gain any sort of advantage. He whips Jackal into the ropes and hits a sleeper-hold takedown! Cena runs into the ropes again and capitalises with an elbow to the sternum of the Jackal who rolls around in pain. And Cena is looking to fly high as he makes his way to the top… FLYING ELBOW DROP…misses!
And the crowd start getting behind The Jackal, they sense he has an opportunity here with Cena still recovering from his big miss. The two get up and near enough the same time with their backs to each other…they turn… THUD! The Jackal slaps his huge hand against the throat of Cena…. CHOKESLAM! NO - KICK TO THE NADS AND A DDT TO THE JACKAL INSTEAD!!!! The Cover… 1…2… and a kick out just before the count of 3.
The crowd are making themselves known here as they jeer loudly at Cena's actions, which the referee apparently didn't see! Cena recuperates before making his way up top again…it’s a high risk and if he misses again it could be fatal… The Jackal slowly swaggers up… HIGH FLYING SPINNING NECKBREAKER FROM CENA - CONNECTS! A great move from Cena who tries for the 3 count… 1…

And a kick out just in time once again from The Jackal!! Cena is furious but his face turns from anger to an evil smirk as The Titan-Tron shows backstage with Batista lying over a bloody and battered Foley!! The crowd are shocked and worried, what the hell did Batista do?! No more time for thinking though as Cena drags The Jackal up and nails a suplex. He spins around to The Jackal's legs once again and wrenches one of them back, a kind of un-orthodox Ankle lock that seems to have got Jackal in a frenzy as he slams his fists in pain on the mat.
And Batista has now appeared at the rampway to a chorus of boo's, he slowly walks to ringside and gives verbal support to his fellow Hardcore Revolution team-mate. The Jackal is nearly at the ropes after a lot of struggling and as Batista goes to pull the ropes back, The Ref kicks his arm off and The Jackal grabs the ropes!!! Cena breaks the hold and gets right in the face of the referee, who shoves him back and lets Cena know that he is in charge and not him! Cena turns round and is met by a thunderous slap to the neck… CHOKESLAM!! WHAM! THE CHOKESLAM FROM OUT OF NOWHERE BY THE JACKAL!! He falls into the cover, 1…

And a kick out just in the nick of time by Cena!! Batista lets out a roar of approval for his team-mate who knows he now has the upper-hand with him helping out. The Jackal uses the ropes to make his way up, and Cena staggers slowly up in the centre of the ring. CLOTHESLINE - NO, CENA DUCKS IT AND TAKES THE JACKAL DOWN WITH A SPEAR!! It's only temporarily got The Jackal down though with him being huge and he quickly gets up. Cena hits a right hand… but it has no affect! He tries again…and it’s the same outcome! Where is Jackal finding the energy?! Cena repeatedly tries until The Jackal has enough and hits a huge boot to the mid-section of Cena… He signals to the crowd… is it time for THE JACKALKNIFE POWERBOMB!? And it doesn't seem so as Batista is making a nuisance of himself on the ring apron, which Jackal goes to sort out! He walks over in a huff and goes to grab Batista, who is quick off the apron and yanks at The Jackal's feet, pulling to the outside and taking him down with a clothesline!! These two aren't set to meet till Free-Fall but it looks as if it is about to explode here as The Jackal fights off Batista and sends him by the throat flying into the guard-rail! SMASH!!!
The Jackal looks to lay out some major punishment to Batista, who has been pi$$ing him off for some time now, but the referee steps in and orders him into the ring before it can go any further. I'm surprised the referee didn't end the match by DQ right there but the match goes on and The Jackal shouts and Cena to "GET UP!" The crowd waits anxiously until Cena swaggers up and The Jackal whips him into the ropes…CLOTHESLINE ATTEMPT - DUCKED BY CENA WHO GOES FLYING INTO THE OFF-GUARD REFEREE!! HE SPINS ROUND AND GETS KICKED IN THE MID-SECTION… JACKALKNIFE POWER…NO, NO, NO… BATISTA SPRINTS IN WITH HIS HARDCORE TITLE AND…SMASH!!! RIGHT ACROSS THE FOREHEAD OF THE JACKAL!!!
Batista sprints wisely out of the ring area to backstage before anyone can try to stop him, in which boo's and jeers deafen the arena. Back in the ring, Cena extremely slowly falls into the cover on top of The Jackal… 1… It can’t be!! …
2… NO, NO, NO!!!…
3!!!!! BUT IT IS, CENA WINS TONIGHTS MATCHUP!!! The crowd raises the noise even more so now, they're furious with the actions of Batista! The camera pans backstage now Mick Foley is getting some treatment, after some kind of vicious assault by Batista? Were assuming it was anyway with him lying over Mick's bloody and battered body earlier in the matchup.
This feud is far, far from over…

Great match, as usual there Scott. The outcome has got to be a bit of an upset with The Jackal on the Hardcore Title hunt! A big win for Cena... Wouldn't that put him a bit higher up in the hardcore ranks? Batista made to be the decider in this top match... Well Done! :)

But it seems the bell isn't needed as Cena starts laying into Jackal straightaway! The Jackal falls down momentarily before fighting his way up and whipping Cena into the ropes, and a shoulder block from to Cena who scrambles out of the ring to the crowd's disapproval!
"Come on!" The Jackal shouting at Cena to enter the ring, who cowardly backs behind his leader who is talking to the ref. WHAM! Foley takes Batista and Cena down with a double clothesline! He drags Cena and throws him into the ring. Go Foley! The camera turns back to the ring where Jackal starts laying into Cena. He waits for him to make his way up before tossing him by the throat into the corner where he gives huge right and left blows to the head of Cena! He staggers out and Jackal hits a huge backdrop suplex!
Cena is in trouble and Batista senses it as he pulls on The Jackal's leg! The crowd are booing whilst the Ref is unaware whilst treating Cena who appears to be in considerable pain! And here's Foley… SMACK! BATISTA SENSES HIM COMING AND SENDS MICK FLYING INTO THE RING STEPS! YEOWCH! BOOM! And Cena with a release German suplex on Jackal! He wasn't in any pain at all! Cena is quick to act on his previous manoeuvre and locks on a Half Boston crab. The Jackal tries to shut out the pain by closing his eyes, it's certainly a lot of pressure to put on the lower back region. The Jackal struggles towards the ropes, and looks to make it until Batista pulls the ropes further away, allowing Cena to drag The Jackal back to the centre of the ring! Foley gives chase on the outside and follows Batista somewhere backstage.
Back in the ring, and Jackal is slowly making his way again to the ropes… Got it! Cena breaks the hold and hits right hands to the back of Jackal, not allowing him to gain any sort of advantage. He whips Jackal into the ropes and hits a sleeper-hold takedown! Cena runs into the ropes again and capitalises with an elbow to the sternum of the Jackal who rolls around in pain. And Cena is looking to fly high as he makes his way to the top… FLYING ELBOW DROP…misses!
And the crowd start getting behind The Jackal, they sense he has an opportunity here with Cena still recovering from his big miss. The two get up and near enough the same time with their backs to each other…they turn… THUD! The Jackal slaps his huge hand against the throat of Cena…. CHOKESLAM! NO - KICK TO THE NADS AND A DDT TO THE JACKAL INSTEAD!!!! The Cover… 1…2… and a kick out just before the count of 3.
The crowd are making themselves known here as they jeer loudly at Cena's actions, which the referee apparently didn't see! Cena recuperates before making his way up top again…it’s a high risk and if he misses again it could be fatal… The Jackal slowly swaggers up… HIGH FLYING SPINNING NECKBREAKER FROM CENA - CONNECTS! A great move from Cena who tries for the 3 count… 1…

And a kick out just in time once again from The Jackal!! Cena is furious but his face turns from anger to an evil smirk as The Titan-Tron shows backstage with Batista lying over a bloody and battered Foley!! The crowd are shocked and worried, what the hell did Batista do?! No more time for thinking though as Cena drags The Jackal up and nails a suplex. He spins around to The Jackal's legs once again and wrenches one of them back, a kind of un-orthodox Ankle lock that seems to have got Jackal in a frenzy as he slams his fists in pain on the mat.
And Batista has now appeared at the rampway to a chorus of boo's, he slowly walks to ringside and gives verbal support to his fellow Hardcore Revolution team-mate. The Jackal is nearly at the ropes after a lot of struggling and as Batista goes to pull the ropes back, The Ref kicks his arm off and The Jackal grabs the ropes!!! Cena breaks the hold and gets right in the face of the referee, who shoves him back and lets Cena know that he is in charge and not him! Cena turns round and is met by a thunderous slap to the neck… CHOKESLAM!! WHAM! THE CHOKESLAM FROM OUT OF NOWHERE BY THE JACKAL!! He falls into the cover, 1…
2…..
And a kick out just in the nick of time by Cena!! Batista lets out a roar of approval for his team-mate who knows he now has the upper-hand with him helping out. The Jackal uses the ropes to make his way up, and Cena staggers slowly up in the centre of the ring. CLOTHESLINE - NO, CENA DUCKS IT AND TAKES THE JACKAL DOWN WITH A SPEAR!! It's only temporarily got The Jackal down though with him being huge and he quickly gets up. Cena hits a right hand… but it has no affect! He tries again…and it’s the same outcome! Where is Jackal finding the energy?! Cena repeatedly tries until The Jackal has enough and hits a huge boot to the mid-section of Cena… He signals to the crowd… is it time for THE JACKALKNIFE POWERBOMB!? And it doesn't seem so as Batista is making a nuisance of himself on the ring apron, which Jackal goes to sort out! He walks over in a huff and goes to grab Batista, who is quick off the apron and yanks at The Jackal's feet, pulling to the outside and taking him down with a clothesline!! These two aren't set to meet till Free-Fall but it looks as if it is about to explode here as The Jackal fights off Batista and sends him by the throat flying into the guard-rail! SMASH!!!
The Jackal looks to lay out some major punishment to Batista, who has been pi$$ing him off for some time now, but the referee steps in and orders him into the ring before it can go any further. I'm surprised the referee didn't end the match by DQ right there but the match goes on and The Jackal shouts and Cena to "GET UP!" The crowd waits anxiously until Cena swaggers up and The Jackal whips him into the ropes…CLOTHESLINE ATTEMPT - DUCKED BY CENA WHO GOES FLYING INTO THE OFF-GUARD REFEREE!! HE SPINS ROUND AND GETS KICKED IN THE MID-SECTION… JACKALKNIFE POWER…NO, NO, NO… BATISTA SPRINTS IN WITH HIS HARDCORE TITLE AND…SMASH!!! RIGHT ACROSS THE FOREHEAD OF THE JACKAL!!!
Batista sprints wisely out of the ring area to backstage before anyone can try to stop him, in which boo's and jeers deafen the arena. Back in the ring, Cena extremely slowly falls into the cover on top of The Jackal… 1… It can’t be!! …
2… NO, NO, NO!!!…
3!!!!! BUT IT IS, CENA WINS TONIGHTS MATCHUP!!! The crowd raises the noise even more so now, they're furious with the actions of Batista! The camera pans backstage now Mick Foley is getting some treatment, after some kind of vicious assault by Batista? Were assuming it was anyway with him lying over Mick's bloody and battered body earlier in the matchup.
This feud is far, far from over…
