I finished the basic design for my site and considering 2 months ago I didn't have a clue how to make anything like this, I think I've done pretty well.
I'm not a professional web designer and I WON'T be selling my web design services although I can say, without being too big headed that what I've done is far far better than some of those 'professional' (if they can call themselves that) web designers (ditto) out there!
I'm not too sure on the colour scheme at the moment though, it maybe a tad bit too bright, but it will do for the time being. Nobodies retinas can burn out ~that~ quickly can they?
I didn't want to do anything too complicated as it would just look crap, but I didn't want to do anything too simple. So I've gone about half way, a nice basic design with some pretty little things to help it chug along...
But I'm relieved I've reached stage one of my plan. To learn to make a site without using Frontpage. The next stage will be to create a site with some more powerful stuff behind it, like creating new pages without having to upload them seperatly but that's gonna take me a while to figure out because I'm stupid. Once I've completed stag two, I hope to take over the world. But lets take things one step at a time.
Anyway, without being too harsh. Could you give me maybe a few little hints on what needs to be changed...

But your onmouseout doesn't work in Netscape 7, so then you mouseover the links, the background stays the same.
All you have to do is include a colour within the onmouseout call, rather than leave it empty.

well done on making a site with some dynamic features (like the mouseOvers on the navbar) that DON'T use the awful scripts that frontpage gnerates.. stylesheets are the choice of kings! :)
