Well, watched the new channel from Five yesterday. In particular, the Stephen King series, Nightmares and Dreamscapes. It's a set of short stories penned from the horror writer.
The first episode, about a hitman who kills a toy company boss then gets a delivery of deadly toy soldiers, was interesting. But it seemed to lack something. It reminded me of the newer Outer Limits stories, I think that's what it was aiming for.
Anyway, it's on every monday apparently, at 9pm.

Ah, thanks. I've been meaning to have a look. It confused me, because I've seen the list of titles for the series, and the majority definitely are in N&D. Crouch End is tonights one, and I remember that being an effective story - unfortunately I'm going out, and will miss it.
It isn't. I think they've just used the title and the idea behind the book (showcasing smaller stories). Yeah, the lack of dialogue suited the story well.
I was kind of half watching it whilst at work. Interestign that there was no dialogue at all in it.
Was a bit of a laugh - but I swear that story isn't in the Nightmares and Dreamscapes collection.
