Just Wonder if u could tell me what the thing is that you can write on and comes on the screen a pad or something? and where i could get them from?
Are you talking about graphics tablets? They really aren't expensive any more but quite good for drawing on as what you draw on the tablet appears on the screen. Most people buy them to write their signature on so that'll go on the computer and they can put it on the bottom of letters etc. You could probably get one at Dixons etc quite reasonably priced.
They're for editing photos I think, you scan a photo in, put the original on your tablet and edit it that way..
They can be used for almost anything though, mine is alright but I wish i'd paid a bit more now :) it also works well with Flash as its easier to edit the lines.

I want one of those. They look pretty cool, but I suppose they're mainly for artists or something, right?
