i could redo the page layout for you, then all you'd have to do is put the clock and the floating text back if you REALLY wanted to :)

Well, I was certainly put off by the background *rubs eyes*

I would have a plain colour and jazz it up with fancy foreground stuff rather than an overpowering background.

Where did you rip the code for that texty follow thing from?? I want one to annoy people..

Technically your site is on the advanced side of things... Im not too sure about the colour schemes though, slightly too something...

I had a problem with running it from my comp, because my dad has very tight security on this computer. I could change it so I can use the builder, but he won't let me so i can't. Anyway, enough about my life story. What do you need?

hmmm, not too bad mate, but from a quick glance at your source code you have a whole lot of "content over substance" happening...
the clock for one thing, a majority of people viewing your site will be using Windows and will have a clock in their system tray, ya don't need one on screen as well.

also, as someone already said, ditch the mouse-following text.

try dimming the background as well, just resave the image after toning it down with photoshop or something

on the whole not too bad, but you'd get the same results in about a 3rd of the code by using some basic table formatting instead of overusing DIV commands.

just a thought, if you'd like a hand at all just let me know dude, i'm pretty good at tidying sites up :)

Thanks for the pointers. Didn't know the text was so annoying. it gets fairly tedius making a site so I just got bored eventually and didn't polish it up. Can you imagine the skill and time it took to build this website?

here's what I noticed:

the writing is a little small, make it bigger
the background kind of conflicts with the colour of the text
and that annoying text that follows the mouse pointer - WHY? :D

apart from that it looks pretty good, well done

The web design forum would definitely be more appriopate
