Well, considering the book is being released tomorrow, or else at the stroke of midnight tonight in some shops, this question has to be asked:
Does anyone here actually read the Harry Potter series? What do you think?

you may think you have a good deal now, but when you add on the .... post and packaging, you will find you have been ripped off.

It's really starting to grate now.

The books are good ... but they're not THAT good. I could name 100 books that deserve all this fame and would make much better films.

The writing itself isn't even very good. I saw that interview and she was reading some bits - it almost bored me to death. "He did that, he did this, he felt this, he went there"
And the description's a bit primative.

Yeah, yeah it's a kid's book, but they probably need more vivid descriptions.

Bah.

I tried to read the third one a few years back, but it nearly bored me to death, so I never got to finish it. Still, I here the other ones aren't to great either.

I read bits and pieces of the first and fourth books. The first sucked, but then the fourth was supposed to be much 'darker', so I read the first few chapters. It sucked too.

It's a childrens book, simple as that, and JK Rowling isn't actually that great a writer either.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Many thanks!!
