They are going to bid for Henry when he CLEARLY states he's happy at Highbury by signing a new contract not only that, they aren't even in the Champions League and look at how the so called new president treated Beckham like a catlyst just to become the new president for his own 'political' campaign.
First he says he has a deal with Manchester United and that he will get his man but he loses him to their arch rivals Real Madrid 2 days after winning the vote.
Now they say 'we are hoping to talk to Henry this week to see if he is interested' NO CHANCE. The chances of them getting a BIG player is slim thanks to losing out on Beckham and no Champions League Football.

Well, mostly that, their poor defensive record in general, and the fact some players are aging. Taylor is a good keeper, and Stack is a good deputy for him. Leeds United took a similar gamble with the young Robinson, and it paid off. And why not play Pennant and Jeffers a bit more? They're both goal machines, seeing Jeffers played his first professional game at 17, and excelled, and Pennant scored a hattrick on his full league debut!
Bring in the youth, keep out the frogs!
