I change DNS for a domain at Namecheap and the change happens fast and without issue. There is no good reason it cannot be reduced to 3600 from your current 14400.
I change DNS here and it is always slow. I currently have a domain offline on a new host because the NS are reporting differently. This has never happened with any other registrar.
Despite being held hostage by your costs I cannot see a reason to stay with your company.

I have checked both the domains on your account and they are both using DNS servers that are not ours and have the SOA records set incorrectly.
All our customers DNS records have TTL of 3600. If you choose to point your domain at another companies DNS servers then we cannot control the DNS record.
Please let us know what domain(s) you have an issue with so I can look into it.
