Being a big fan of the gangster movies Goodfellas is one of my favourite movies of one time, the current release on DVD is poor barely any extras, so this is defiantely good news. However the Goodfellas Special Edition DVD is only confirmed for US release so far, a UK release is a dead cert though and can't wait for the new DVD release the classic film so richly deserves. Much like the Trainspotting release that is now out as a 2 disc DVD and has great load of features + the film is uncut, getting this DVD as well.
PS Can't wait to see Once Upon A Time In America on DVD when its released this Monday (23 june), the film is fully uncut and is a lengthy 4 hours long but I have heard from a lot of people that its one of the greatest Gangster movies ever.
