"Streets of England"

After seeing armed police doing regular street patrols in certain areas of England on the news, I can't help but think how much the UK has gone down hill in terms of crime statistics. In manchester gangs dominate certain areas and streets, shooting each other in public streets. I remember seeing on the news a young girl who was caught in the crossfire between two gangs and was killed. What is our country coming to, and why is it happening? Some people fight over things such as football teams money or drugs. There are certain areas that I wouldn't walk through alone, and this is because selfish people fight there stupid, unnecesary, wars.

I agree, our world would be a much better place if the world looked after nature more, i believe that, and i'm not a naturist extremist person, although what mcdonalds and BK do is pretty sick, actually shall I start a thread about that?

Well I don't know about the country going downhill, because I'm quite young and haven't been around to see what state the country was in, say, twenty years ago.

But I agree that the place is really made unpleasant by a lot of people. It's made unsafe and downright scary for some people - and the fear is not unwarranted or simply paranoia. Unfortunately a lot of people buy into the lifestyle of getting drunk, fighting, resorting to crime etc and blaming immigrants for their laziness.

I'd really like to move to a much more polite society such as the Japanese have, although even they have rising crime rates. There's no way around the idiots of the world.

Actually one of my dreams (more as something that will always stay a pipedream rather than something achievable) is to just go and live way out of society's way. Just out in the wild, catch my own food, never see a human again. I'd really enjoy it. At least I think I would, I've never tried it. But give me a choice between nature and human society, I'd go for the nature option every time.
