Hogan's too old. Back in the day he was a pretty good wrestler but now he's not. End.Of.Story.
Maybe Hogan had real long nails at the time. You should take a closer look at the move. Maybe Rocky wasn't over-selling it. Or maybe he felt a sharp pain in his back right at that particular second. He is getting older y'know.
Yeah, it was just I was watching the Rock/Hogan match from WM18 a little while ago and I saw The Rock sell Hogan 'raking his back' as if he'd been hit by a chair.
Yeah, I hate him too. Actually I don't, at least, I used to like him, till he started hanging round with that loser kid, 'Zach Gowen'. I would say something else about him, but I'm not sure if you guys have seen SmackDown yet. Anyway, the point is, those are classic moves! You'd understand if you were a wrestling purist like myself.
Well, they're technically excellent compared to the 'eye rake', 'back rake' and 'leg drop' manouevers of the Hulks...er, Mr. America.
