They immediately produce a brightly coloured console with a controller that looks like action man's bazooka. Smooth move!

But your initial point was VERY valid. There are many gamers like myself, who have what can only be called a prejudice about Nintendo (let's call this the 'kiddie' factor). Now we all now that Nintendo 'initially' aimed itself at the younger gamer, and that they are now trying to rectify this image, but that negative exposure of 'kiddie' is still imprinted in the minds of those of us who prefer the DC or the PSX.
As yet, Nintendo still haven't done anything to help to avert this prejudice, and they really do need to do something quickly. I admit that this prejudice is only in my mind, it's not a rational prejudice (if there is such a thing), but whilst it is still there, I will not be looking at the GC, but at the X-Box as my future console.
Any suggestions about what Nintendo can and should do should be welcomed.
> this was a joke,,,, a come back to the "why GC is great"
> topic. Anyway... the cube looks stupid!
Even though this was a joke my point is still as it stands.
Also I don't think that it looks stupid, but i guess it's a matter of personal opinion.

It doesn't make them any less playable.
I don't need countless gore and violence in a game to enjoy it.
Also, as a parent I don't want my daughter to watch violence. So if I want to play games, I'll choose a Nintendo to do it on.
This console does not look childish in back or silver.
Its up to you if you get the Pink one, but then only youcan be blamed
