The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
This forum is sooo packed, you can't read all the posts, the main problem is that people post topics about the Dreamcast and X-Box in the FOG forum! I think SR should have a chat, this way the forums wouldn't bombarded with stupid topics like In want to win a game.
SR, we need a chat room, if not then a Chat Forum, It won't take too long with HTML, you can do it in a day! I just think that maybe it would be best seeing as it mostly chat that takes up the forums!
People who wanted to chat can go to Chat and people who most and try and try to win gameaday (suckers) can post in the FOG forum..

Can you imagine how fast that screen would scroll if we had a chat with all of us on it? It's bad enough sometimes with just 5 of us on Messenger. And chat would need to be moderated, so SR would need to employ a full time bleeper.
I prefer it the way it is now. As you may remember, when this forum first started out, it was just isolated rows here and there between the original regulars, now it's evolved into a 'community' of mostly like minded beings, Sheep and Ants and Rhinos and Snakes included. It would be good to watch how this community develops over the coming year. And at least this way if we are having a decent argument, we have time to compose our replies so that our points can be put across better, that's a lot harder to do in a realtime chat scenario.
