Final Fantasy I and IV will be coming to US Wiis in 2009 according to Iwata at the GDC yesterday.

This might mean a European release at some point soon and would mean that all of the first 5 Final Fantasy games would be on Wii in one region or another.

Got them all on the Playstation so need to get them again. What i will be at least renting is Broken Sword on the Wii. I didn't even know it existed until last night.

I enjoy playing the old ones on the ds also. But interesting to see if they try incorporate wii contorls to fight or something?!?!

The first 6 are playable on my DS at the mo, but great news for those that want them on the bigger screen.
