If that comment was aimed at me....then no your not, probably max out at 6k if your lucky.
If your saying that because you've got broadband you expect to see every download at say 50k per second then unfortunately you need to pack the ADSL modem back into the box, return it to your ISP & cancel your contract.
If you've read the email about the support guy who was speaking to a customer then you know what's coming next....

It doesn't matter that your on broadband, it's the connection at the other end which is the limiting factor. You could have a 100mb pipe to the net and you'd still get slow downloads.

I've been using torrent for about a day, it starts at 1kbps for about a minute and then goes to around 50. But I'm on broadband.
On my KaZaA I rarely get more than 5kb/s download speed.
Torent does offer poor download speeds. If you are lucky you will be able to download a film in 24 hours.
