If he can't uninstall the proram, he can't wipe the registry without going into there and deleting the stuff by himself which isn't very safe and may not work.

Installing under a different folder will still leave the registry keys in the same place.

Just install MSN over the top of the old one. The corrupted file will be replaced.

The messenger is corrupt and reinstalling it wont work, it is due to spyware on ur computer being deleted. The spyware has embedded itself within MSN messenger and now u have deleted it, it is saying that u have damaged it because it disables part of the program. Try reinstalling perhaps under a completely different folder.

OR:

1. Delete all traces of messenger.
2. (Download first if you haven't got it)Run Ad-aware and clean out all spyware and unwanted crap! (www.downloads.com)
3. Reinstall MSN under a compelely different folder (or same folder if u aint bothered, but i wud change the name to be on the safe side).
4. There you go problem should be solved...

N e further problems, post a message in this topic.

Sounds like your MSN is um.

The 'F' worded.

So you can't uninstall?

Download the MSN again or just find the original downloaded file and install OVER the existing messenger you've got.
