14th Febuary is approaching, the time of remembering the death of the Christian Martyr Valentine under the reign or Claudius II, and also the time of getting all those cards from people you don't know and spend the next week or so trying to find who sent them.

So this year, on the theme of Valentines and gaming, mine goes to....

Angelina Jolie. Daughter of Jon Voight, nice tattoos, loadsa money, top looker, plus she is playing Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider movie. She has an interest in knives and mortuaries, but then we can't all be perfect.

I await her response.

I was going to send my ex- a nice Valentine, but I've heard that the Royal Mail can detect packages containing C4, and I think the ticking would give it away anyhow.

Alternatively (though I don`t recommend it), attempt more than one, but avoid meeting both at once, especially in a well populated area such as just outside WHSmiths. It can be more embarassing than anything else on earth.

I`m not sending one this year. Last year I did, and things went great for a while, but then really badly, so I won`t risk it this time. Girlfriend at the time didn`t like it. She is one of those women who insists on being the ONLY one! Can you believe it? Avoid this sort of problem at all costs. It can be a total nightmare if things go wrong.
