For one of my many pointless college projects, we have to make a list of some of the best TV moments of 2003. Quite hard considering we're only half way through the year and most TV is pap.

I've got a few ideas -

Eurovision Song Contest 2003 – Great Britain receives zero points - BBC 1
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire documentary – the cheating Major – ITV1
Living With Michael Jackson - Wacko Jacko - ITV 1
War In Iraq – multiple channels (you can tell I was getting desperate)
GMTV – Lorraine’s little slip – ITV 1 (and incredibly desperate with this one)
This Morning – Rogue Knives – ITV 1 (somebody got hit with a knife...)
Coronation Street – Psycho Neighbour – ITV1 (I don't watch it, but everyone else had that murderer guy so I do too)
Big Brother – People still care – Channel 4 (the opening episode got a lot o' viewers)

So I put to you - what else has happened in 2003? I'll take ANYTHING, as you know I've already put enough filler stuff in to wedge the Grand Canyon, so it doesn't matter if it's not exactly exciting stuff.

Anything happen in Eastenders? Big Brother? Brookside? Any Channel 5 documentaries (and not just the porn) Anything happen at all? I need ideas! As many as you can think of!

Teclen Whittock going 'nooo' in WWTBAM was pretty funny.

But TV has been pretty darn crap.

Best thing in TV this year has to be the return of 24 and Spooks.

Best single moment was in 24 when Jack Shot a guy in CTU before cutting his head off. Excellent!

Heh, Bauerage :D

I think Mason killing himself to save America is the best moment of the year on TV so far. Darwin Pillock, Tefflon Pillow, whatever his name is, cheating on WWTBAM with Major Ingram has to be a close second, and Have I Got News For You with Martin Clunes at third :D

It's not really classic if it happened this year though, is it? :D

I agree. Such a brave man (even if he was going to die anyway)
