Chris Jericho (Figo) w/ bWo vs Chris Benoit (Grandprix)
Lillian Garcia: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Coming down the aisle first, from Alberta, Manitoba, Canada, Chris Jericho!
[As smoke billows from the entrance and strobe lights flash all over the place, Jericho appears at the entrance, his arms spread as far as he can whilst still maintaining a vertical base. He turns around as he thrives off of the fans’ reactions to him. He walks down the aisle and climbs up onto the apron, surveying the arena around him and certainly thinking about his forthcoming match. He steps under the top rope and walks into the ring, eating up the fans’ reactions some more before the music and lights cut and Jericho awaits his opponent.]
Garcia: And his opponent, from Alberta, Manitoba, Canada, Chris Benoit!
[His music hits as blue and black strobe lights fill the arena, showing Benoit’s ever-changing demeanor, that he could snap at any second. He slowly walks down the aisle, his eyes completely fixated on Jericho. He stops midway, looks around and at Jericho, before running and sliding into the ring. The bell rings.]
[Jericho (Figo) begins stomping away at Benoit (Grandprix) as he slides into the ring. Jericho pulls Benoit up and Y2J hits Benoit in the head with the back of his elbow. Jericho then rakes his fingers across Benoit’s back. Benoit has a sudden burst of energy and Jericho gets thrown into the turnbuckle. One of Canada’s greatest technical wrestlers comes over and smashes Jericho’s head into it. Benoit delivers a spinning backbreaker to Jericho as he rebounds from an Irish Whip to the ropes. Benoit nails Jericho with a double underhook suplex and then goes to hit Jericho with a rolling elbow smash to the face, but Jericho rolls out of the way and Benoit smashes his elbow on the floor, which causes him to writhe in pain. Jericho regains his vertical base and measures Benoit up and drops a closed fist. Y2J knees Benoit and rolls back to his feet. Jericho then proceeds to the top rope and Benoit gets hit with a diving elbow smash from the determined Jericho. Jericho goes to make the first pin fall of the match. Earl Hebner (Mr Snuggly) takes the count.]

If he can’t wrap this match up and if it goes to distance, Jericho may be in trouble. Benoit delivers a Short Lariat to Jericho, completing flooring him and switching off his lights. Jericho, out of pure showmanship and cockiness, slaps a floored Benoit about the face numerous times. Benoit rakes the face of a yet-again surprised Jericho in a futile attempt to make a comeback. Benoit climbs to his feet whilst Jericho is still stunned and furthermore, slaps him around the face. Jericho shoves Benoit and giving as good as he gets, Benoit shoves Jericho back. Innovative descriptions and some nice touches like the drunken fans. :D
Nice one dude.
My match up today (just remember that I had a promo to do as well :P )
Cheers Aje.
Good one.
Anger does odd things to a man. And Dee Dubbya - what the hell are you doing here? :D
Just one thing, I didn't really feel that Benoit was a face in that. Maybe it was just me. I enjoyed the match though. If you need to know who is a face or heel, just check the SRW Eclipse topic. :)
That rocked Shaun, full of action etc.
Oh, and Lillian Garcia is...you.
Lillian Garcia (Shaneo). See.
