Once the technology is in place to transmit data from someone's 3D 'Tank Simulator' and convert it into commands for a remotely enabled tank, then you don't need half the military staff required now.
The technology exists, it's just too easy to block the signal at the moment...

Was it Armitage who quoted that 85% of Americans now believe that most military hardware is too expensive to send into battle in case it gets damaged?
