And don’t forget that you'd still need a source that could upload at such a high speed to be able to use it.
not to be a computing nerd (or complete idiot) but wouldn't a buffer take care of downloading at that speed....so having plenty of RAM would solve the problem.....

The fact that you'd need a stupidly fast HD to be able to download 1 gig of data in that time kinda limits it though.
