"*Simple question Buffy season 6 on DVD worth buying?*"

Season 6 started poorly, but started getting good around episode 6. Once More With Feeling and Tabula Rasa are two excellent episodes. The rest of the season gets better and better, dealing with life issues that Buffy and the Scoobies haven't had to face before (addiction, rape, confusion about love, abandonment). The finale two parter - Two To Go/Grave - is bettered only by Becoming as a Buffy season finale, with the best Willow/Xander moment in the entire program.

So yes. Get it.

Im hardly a hardcore fan of Buffy, but I have been watching the series since late season 1 and have enjoyed it, season 3 was by far one of the best seasons it had some awesome some storylines + good acting and finale of the season was great and totally unexpected. Season 4 I watched, missed 1 or 2 episodes It was a good season, not the best but still good I think that it has been a bit harshly rated as the worst, mind you I haven't seen any of seasons 5, 6 (apart from the last episode) or the last ever season 7, have to wait til autumn to see that one on bbc2. Buffy season 6 will defiantly be my next DVD boxset to get.

Early part yes, but like you said it did really let it's self down in the latter half with Adam. Hush is easily on of the best episodes.

Season three with the Mayor and Faith, what more can be said. The Mayor was one of my favorite characters, just because I found him so delightfully entertaing and funny.

Yeah, admittedly Adam was the worst Big Bad ever. But the early parts of the season were great. Beer Bad, for example. Hush. Pangs. Doomed. The Freshman. Harsh Light of Day.

I found that Season 4 was just lacking something. It could of just been the characters in it or the final "Big bad" that was Adam. I just did't sit right with me. I'm not too sure why.

Season 4 is excellent.

I'm adding my own because I want to. I can't really decide upon my rankings but I know my worst and best seasons.

Best : Season 3.

Worst: Season 4.

All the others are in between these. I haven't seen all of season 7 so I will reserve judgment until next Thursady.

As for Angel I will do just the three seasons.
