To tell the truth, although Nash gets stick the thought of HHH beating the living hell out of him excites me (this is one situation where I think everyone agrees HHH should go over), even more so when its in Hell in a Cell (one of my favourite gimmick matches), and even more so after with Foley potentially reffing).
As well, we have Goldberg/Jericho, which should see sparks fly what with the real-life animosity between the two. I alays enjoy watching Shawn Michaels wrestle, and what with a recent Flair resurgance, that could be classic bout despite both men being in the twilight of their careers. Hell, even Steiner/Test doesn't look too shabby, and it actually resembles a slow burning fued the likes of which is rare these days (and any excuse to get Stacy on screen is a valid one).
I was initially skeptical, but with the strength of the RAW roster, I'm very much looking forward to it. Yes, the wrestling quality of some won't be exceptional, but don't kid yourself that's the only reason we watch it -
sometimes seeing big names and egos battle it out is just as entertaining.
Conversely, Vengeance, the Smackdown only PPV, doesn't look promising at all, given that even an episode of SD is lame now. Knowing how its going right now, it will probably be a Piper vs. Mr. America vs. Vince vs. Stephanie IronMan 60min Fatal Fourway as the main event...
Goldberg didn't injure him - it was his own fault. And because of that, Hart can never wrestle again :|
And anyone who's followed the Y2J/Goldberg history on the net will be eagerly anticipating their match, though I have horrible visions of Goldberg legitimitally hurting Jericho, a la Bret Hart.
Jericho vs Goldberg, Flair vs Michaels, Nash vs HHH, Christian vs Booker and even Steiner vs Test have been built up well. There's HIAC with Mick Foley (hopefully), the tag team titles match (where Kane will hopefully do something after the stunner on RAW) and I'm sure Austin and Bischoff can provide some comedy.
Looking forward to it.
The prospect of HHH and Nash in a Cell only holds out the hope of one of them injuring themselves. Hopefully both will. Test V Steiner is going to be so bad. Steiner hasn't given a good match yet and I doubt Test will get a good match out of him. La Resistance are still green but this is typical WWE. Pushing people who aren't ready or shouldn't be pushing. Jericho is going to try but I think the match is going to suffer because of Goldberg.
Maybe I looking at it all a little negative but after Judgment Day...
