because an Intel Pentium IIII is on average running at a slower speed then the Intel Pentium III.

THATS TRUE!

That is more than likely due to the predictive cache it uses, which is an attempt to speed things up, but slows everything down horribly.

And still the PIV 1.5Ghz processor is £950inc. VAT..

Money is better off spent on PIII 933, or AMD 1.2Ghz.
