Hi,

I updated my Eset Security yesterday from v3 to v4,

I'm not sure if its related, but my ping (using www.speedtest.com) has gone through the floor since updating. Its usually around 30ms but its now 520+ ms each time I test.

I have hard reset the pc and hard reset the router and its made no difference.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Neil

Solved.

Within Web access protection, there is a specific HTTP monitoring option. Disabling that worked a treat.

(Side note: Any idea from support why the ping did this? Why did it drop to 520+? What was ESET doing, where was it going?)
