I've just bought an AOL Broadband (don't hurt me...) modem package. It was second hand, and comes with no install guide. It comes with one microfilter, but the guy knocked some money off the package, as one was missing. The disc and all the cables are there.
I'm not an AOL member, so I'll have to sign up to their free trial before upgrading to Broadband. What a stupid system. Anyway, What I need to know is...
What goes into the socket that says DSL HPN on the microfilter?
When do I connect the modem?
That is all for now.
Help me please, and thanks in advance.
Instead, I'll get Virgin.net Broadband.
Only £60 for a modem and two microfilters, plus free installation.
Hope that helps...
If you're planning on playing online games with AOL, don't bother.
The package gives amazingly high pings.
Oh, and if you got it second hand, how do you get installation and all that done?
