Great Start by BMW with Ralph & Montoya 1/2 to start with

Ralph in particuler looks like he means business with a great start and led the way ever since.

Montoya scraped a wall at the start but seems to have recovered well.

*looks around for Ferrari*

Ah there they are - can barely see them in the back ;)

Ralph's just gone in the Pits and Montoya leads....

I reckon it's about to get interesting with several pit stops due

Champcars aren't exactly dissimilar (except in size) to the cars used in British Formula Ford.

Yeah, but we need to have at least one track that varies in size, some way or another.

Monaco being the thinnest and tightest track makes it what it is; an exciting event.

It's been a really good season so far for Renault.

Alonso, especially, has been doing well.

Montoya deserved the win he got today. He's been on the podium so many times since he last won, but just never right on the top. He drove really well.

They really should try to widen the track at Monaco in one way or another- it's too narrow for F1 cars to overtake- and Raikonnen was pressing for the lead for the whole race!

Ralf's second set of tyres gave him loads of oversteer and understeer. He wasted a lot of time when he almost crashed into the barrier at the second part of La Rascasse.

It seemed like the Ferrari was useless with a lot of fuel because when the car was light, he was as quick as the others.

Great to see Montoya win in the end and not a bad Grand Prix at all, Raikkonen seemed to have that bit between the teeth and a little more compsure and he would have won it.

Although, not sure what happened to Ralph, did very well in the first half of the race but seemed to lose at it thereafter.

Ah well at least Ferrari didn't win as usual and it was pretty unusual having to watch Michael Shumacher battling out for 3rd place.

Good stuff, we want more like this.

Raikkonen had that race won with a string of 1m14's but it was a bad pit stop from McLaren but kudos to Montoya. He drove exceptionally well and deserved the win.

Montoya with an awesome 1.15.100 (rounded time) gets him i think the lead of the race. Come on Montie don't have any reliabilty problems now.

Raikkonen gets caught in traffic on his in lap which i think cost him the lead maybe.
