We have a smalltree in our garden that one of our cats used to sit in. Now it can't because an angry family of birds has moved - and they're troublemakers!!!

First it was just the male and female birds in the tree. They were fine, ocassionaly swooping down on visiting relatives. But now they've had a little baby bird, and they're very over-protective. My cats, being naturally inquisitive, approach the tree to see what all the fuss is about, but they end up being beaten off (hur) by this stupid, chirping blackbird. It's just pathetic - 2 cats vs a bird...and the bird wins!

The baby bird is a bit wrong in the head though. First we found it in our bin, and had to rescue it and shoo the cats away at the same time. Then a couple of days ago, we actually got it out of one of the cat's mouths!! It was still alive and the parents came and got it, but the mother bird seems to have gone on some kind of Charles Bronson-esque revenge outing! Everyday our cats sit watching the tree as the birds sit in it and laugh at the cats. Like I said - how pathetic...

Buy your cats a blade each.
Or jetpacks.
Then microwave them.
Microwaves solve everything.

I'll give it two years before Disney steal this idea for a movie.

Get the cat to dress up as Worzel Gummidge. That would scare any living creature.

I bet their dodgems will be covered in bird sh#t.

You'll be sick of the t#t that keeps shouting "Chirp for speed" too.

In some ways you need to face it, Tree's are for Birds and not for Cats. Basically the birds have come and said, "Oi, out you go, I'm a Bird, hence why I'm going to sit my black behind on this little tree". It was all nature.

Now to solve this mini-war, buy a Scarecrow. Or does that only work for certain birds?

Just be happy it's not a Crow. Ah, and there's the missing link. Scarecrows scare Crows because thats whats their name is about. If you had forgot.

Pikey birds? Now it's just 1 family, but soon there'll be 5 families of them, all going through your bins and claiming benefits.
