Microsoft FORCED to share it's browsing technologies with AOL (which now owns Netscape) - they're soooo gonna get half-assed about it. Wee Willy Gates won't like that one bit.

Oh BTW... Currently using:: http://www.ruihehang.com/myie2/html_en/home.htm

As well as:

Mozilla 1.3
Netscape 7.2
Camino

(oddly enough all three of the above use the same Gecko engine)

D'uh.... Aol used to use NN as it's chosen browser but has now decided to opt to distribute AOL with IE. This decision was made sometime mid last year... it's old news for god's sake!

You can't respect him when it took a major lawsuit from one of America's biggest companies to get him to do it...

Well, I'm still a bit unsure as to the legallity in one company being forced to share their product information .... I mean if MS now have to share with AOL, whats to stop Ford being forced to share with Aldi (Ifyou see my meaning).

Still, I respect Bill Gates for going along with it. If I were him, with the personall forture I had, and had the law trying to screw me on every corner, I'd have said &£)* it a long time ago, and sold/shut the whole company down .... as its a sastle I'd just prefer not to deal with.

Heh!

"I'm excited about the opportunity to work together collaboratively to make the digital decade a reality" - Bill Gates, Microsoft chairman

Yeah, right! If you really thought it was a good idea, you'd have approached them about it of your own free will, and not waited for a lawsuit to force you into it!
