Except "The Godfather" films they were a HUGE disapointment, and wouldn't consider buying them on DVD.

Gotta laugh at the irony of how the Godfather series ended though - the guy survives all of these gangs to die of a sodding heart attack :D

Kastro said "I am disapointed that no one has mentioned SCARFACE, that is a classic." yeah Im surprised to I haven't seen the film but I want to see it defiately, Goodfellas I have seen loads and is probably the best Gangster movie in my opinion, The Godfather films aren't all that they are incredibly overated, I found them pretty boring and the films had absolutely no shocking scences at all it lacks the type of violence and bad language that most gangsters films are well known for.

I am disapointed that no one has mentioned SCARFACE, that is a classic. I also like Menace 2 Society and Boyz n the Hood but they are not strictly about gangsters.

Don't forget Casino, bloody great gangster film that, I like it just as much a goodfellas which is one the best gangster films out there.
