Whenever I try to use tables as part of an interface design it always leaves a gap between my borders. I cut up my pixel bevel bored etc in photoshop and make sure it fits the right parts in the table. When I put the grpahics in the table, obviously the table is of a different size. So i pull it towards the graphic and make it fit.

When I do that it leaves a gap, a white space between them. is there a way to start off with a table the exact size as the graphic.

Also I have an interface with buttons on the left, It is one whole .png and I cannot but it against a table (which contains my main body)any hints? would it be better if i also cut up the selecting interface thing and put that into a table aswell? Many Thx

Padding is the space between the cell contents and the cell border, and spacing is between the cell border and the other cells. One or both defaults to "1" iirc, which completely ruins any attempt to make a picture mosaic unless you set them manually back to 0 :O[]

Change the
tag to

Add width="??" inside the tag to define the size of the table.
