As i sat in my bath, with a copy of OSM, i came across a picture of Sugar Ray Leonard Vs Roberto Duran, it captured the moment when Roberto Duran had just submitted to Sugar Ray, he was a broken man, the only reason i looked at this photo was the fact that it was Black and White, the entire magzine was in colour, but this picture stood out, and the only picture i remember was that one, and whilst considering this i looked back on, deciding which film i thought was the most beautiful and low and behold, 'Raging Bull' Was thefirst and last on my list (bearing in mind Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon wasn't in contention), and the reason was that Black and white can add something which colour glosses over. The only analogy i can think of is with books, as a child you can read books with Pictures but as your imagination grows and your mind expands you dont see the need for pictures anymore and you replace them with only rext, thus giving eveyone a different interpretation of a book. Im not sure if you guys see what i mean, its just that i think we're loosing something if we dont use black and white in our fiLms, maybe not all the time (as Scorsese so Brilliantly did) but at least some.so we gotta remember that Black and White movies are NOT in the past, come on, what do you think?

Schindlers List, CRAP?! how can you say that, i cant see why you would say this, i mean it was essentially a documentation of History, its like saying,
"Oh World War II? yeah that was Crap" you simply cant, Spielburg did what i thought was his finest achievement yet with this fiLm, and did not conentrate the fiLm entirely around one Soppy love story (i.e TITANIC) which made a mockery out of the disaster,
The exceptional use of Black and White in Schindlers List was a stroke of Genius (bar the little girl in the red dress), and i cannot see any reason you have to say this fiLm is anything other then a cinematic documentary of the highest standard.
