I have just had some e-mail from LucasArts saying that Star Wars Starfighter is expected to be released on Feb 21st in America - So hopefully this means we should see it appear over here around March after all - I had heard rummors suggesting it would be delayed till September!!

I wouldn't worry too much about this. One of the claims Oddworld Inhabitants made was that they were moving to X-Box because the PS2's graphics didn't let them create a nice enough looking world.
But check out the latest X-Box shots on Daily Radar:

...and you'll see that it it doesn't look much better than it did on PS2. Some of the larger pictures clearly show that the jaggies which got Oddworld so wound up are still clearly there.
Don't get me wrong... I'm not knocking the X-Box, just trying to illustrate that the only real reason that they switched Abe to an X-Box exclusive was that big fat cheque you mentioned.
