The "Freeola Customer Forum" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
I contacted Freeola tech support, and the rights were reset, and now it all works OK.
As far as using a dedicated FTP program, some FTP servers are not accessable via a web browser, or the connection is painfully slow. I suppose it depends on what you want to do. If you're only uploading pages to a website, then you can use IE or Frontpage or whatever, but if you want to access a range of different FTP servers, you really need an FTP client, and the simplest by far that I've found is CuteFTP. I would also recommend CuteMAP and CuteZIP for both amateur and professional web designers - they all make life so much easier.
