For those who are complaining this conference has gone downhill: I have checked back to the beginning of March on this. I still found people going on about trivial things such as 'I need nicotine' and 'this or that person e-mailed me'. Months down the line it's the SAME. To those who say this conference isn't the same: I say it's been like that for the last few months.

If it's been like this for the last few months, and people still love it, you must be the only one who sees a problem.
Well, if I was a person doing things like posting "YAWN" then this would only encourage me..... tell people not to do something and odds are they'll do it more.
No, it's just annoying to be in the middle of a good discussion when someone who's been here longer posts 'yawn' or something indicating it isn't THEIR sort of intelligent discussion. This IS the dissent.

That's a good motto for the life forum, and a good motto for life in general.
I think the forum motto should be: 'You get out what you put in'.
This forum is cool. I enjoy reading people's short stories and all the different opinions and strange thoughts.It gets a bit messy from time to time, but overall it's a good place.
